PowerPRM recently introduced its proprietary platform for franchise and network business management to the market. Piotr Kerner, Solution Architect at PowerPRM, discusses the tools offered by the company to maximize the potential of networks.
Why should we pay attention to the Power Platform? What sets PowerPRM apart from other similar solutions?
We have built a unique product that is flexible in terms of client specifications and requirements, easy to maintain and develop. The PowerPRM platform is a ready-to-implement solution (Commercial off-the-Shelf), but we approach it flexibly to best meet the needs of our clients. On one hand, we don’t start everything from scratch, and customizing the product/process for the client doesn’t require massive time and financial investments or an army of programmers. On the other hand, we are not dogmatic in using off-the-shelf components. We come from a programming background and have experience in delivering completely personalized, tailor-made solutions from scratch, as well as using ready-made components. We stand out in the market thanks to our unique ability to match the best tool to specific needs.
Our platform is characterized by the fact that it was built by experts with extensive CRM industry experience. It is a well-thought-out concept, tested under operational conditions. Before we started developing this tool, we conducted a series of successful pilot projects for major players in the franchise market. In the IT industry, the key is to introduce a high-quality product to the market quickly. When we started working on PowerPRM, we didn’t focus on “marketing-driven development” or “powerpoint-driven development,” which means creating hype around a system that doesn’t yet exist. We wanted to build a PRM based on a comprehensive, scalable architecture that could be easily adapted to the specific needs of partner or franchise networks. Thanks to its modular structure, our platform stands out with record-fast implementation time, advanced process automation features, and ease of use.

Why did you choose Microsoft technology for building the PowerPRM platform?
We chose Microsoft because it is a global leader in IT solutions. The Redmond giant has been creating and supporting developer environments for a long time. In addition to well-known and proven solutions, such as programming languages like C# or TypeScript, Azure cloud capabilities are enhanced by the first and best low-code/no-code platform according to Forrester’s report. If we add to this the fact that Microsoft is the largest provider of office suites for businesses, and that everything is interconnected, it becomes clear how comprehensive and complete this solution is. We consciously chose Microsoft products because they are subject to constant monitoring and continuous development.
Can PowerPRM help reduce the burden on programmers in terms of ongoing system support?
In the past, many years before the advent of the Power Platform, most things had to be done traditionally with the help of programmers – from creating databases, connections, and application layers to APIs, and finally, what the client sees, the portal. As the system and platform developed, more and more tasks could be taken over by consultants, analysts, or citizen developers. This means that adding a field to a form no longer requires updating the database and all layers by a programmer. It can now be done in minutes by a citizen developer or technical consultant. This frees up time for experts to focus on developing advanced system functionalities.
